From the earliest age, musicians’ performances are linked with the genre of the instrumental concerto. It is the multi-part concerto that provides the best opportunity for performers to reveal every facet of their talents: to show their interpretation skills, their mastery of the instrument and the musical form. Presented in the collection are violin concertos by A. Vivaldi, O. Rieding and F. Seitz which have been long and firmly established in the study repertoire of junior music school pupils, being the first step on the way to the heights of performing skill.
